Role Description
- Run conventional conveyancing matters and off-the-plan sales programs for developer clients — contracts, disclosure, pipeline and settlements.
- Handle private development transactions — acquisitions and disposals, subdivision and survey-plan registration.
- Draft and review contracts of sale and special conditions (REIQ and bespoke developer contracts).
- Manage settlements end-to-end through PEXA, including searches, adjustments and requisitions.
- Manage disclosure, sunset dates, variations and deposits across a busy pipeline.
- Liaise with developers, agents, financiers and the other side through to registration.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience as a conveyancer in a Queensland practice, running files end-to-end.
- Hands-on off-the-plan and developer / sell-side conveyancing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Queensland conveyancing — REIQ contracts, the Property Occupations Act, the BCCM Act, Land Sales Act provisions and titles practice.
- Proficiency with PEXA; familiarity with Smokeball and InfoTrack is a plus.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to keep a high-volume pipeline on track.
