We’re growing — and we want a senior commercial litigator to lead and build out our disputes practice.

This is a genuine senior appointment with a clear path to partnership for the right person. You will:

  • Run your own complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters end-to-end — Supreme Court, Federal Court, QCAT and arbitration
  • Advise on contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, banking & finance enforcement, property and mortgage litigation, corporate and director disputes, restructuring and insolvency, and IP enforcement
  • Work directly alongside the Principal and our transactional partners on contentious aspects of M&A, capital raising and funds management matters
  • Mentor junior lawyers and help shape the culture of the disputes team
  • Build your own client following with the full backing of an established, well-regarded brand
  • 5+ years’ PQE in commercial litigation at a recognised commercial or top-tier firm (we’re flexible — quality over years)
  • Admitted to practice in Queensland (or eligible for admission)
  • Genuine technical strength across Court rules, evidence and commercial drafting
  • Commercial judgment — you can read a P&L, see the deal behind the dispute and give clients advice they can actually use
  • Confident running your own files and matters with minimal oversight
  • Existing client relationships or a credible plan to develop them is highly regarded
  • Aspiration to partnership
