Gavin has spent his career acting for private and listed companies, private credit funds, real estate fund managers, developers and high net worth families. His work spans banking & finance, corporate and property transactions, often where those areas intersect.
He is an Accredited Specialist in Business Law (Queensland Law Society) and has been recognised in Doyle’s Guide, Lawyers Weekly and Global 100 for his private equity, funds management and corporate expertise.
A significant part of Gavin’s practice involves acting for private lenders and sponsors in private credit and real estate finance transactions, as well as advising developers across the full lifecycle of projects, from early structuring and site acquisition through to off‑the‑plan sales and exits.
In addition to his transactional practice, Gavin is the author of Protect Your Assets, a practical guide to structuring and asset protection for Australian business owners and investors. He also sits on a number of boards and investment vehicles, giving him a commercial, operator‑level perspective on the legal issues his clients face.
Clients value Gavin’s responsiveness, straight‑talking advice and focus on delivering commercially clean outcomes under tight timeframes.
